NanGenex offers a variety of commercial models to its partners. These models vary according to the company's different service and product categories, the stage of the product development value chain and the contribution of the parties to the commercialization of the results of the collaboration.

NanoActive™ Technology Solutions

NanGenex partners acquire a license to the proprietary NanoActive™ technology platform to commercialize the NanoActive™ product or product families developed through the collaboration.

Proof of Concept study

Our Proof-of Concept (POC) project consists of 4 phases:

Phase I - Feasibility study

The feasibility phase starts with prediction of suitable stabilizers and solvents using our searchable NanoFlow and NanoSAR database. The prediction step is followed by the screening where the stabilizers, solvents and antisolvents are evaluated and selected for the optimization phase. The produced colloid solution of the nanosized API having a particle size below 1000nm is freeze or spray dried to obtain solid form. After extensive testing (redispersibility, solubility and chemical stability) the best formulae are selected for the next phase.

Phase II - Initial small scale optimization

In this phase the transformation parameters are optimized for the purpose to produce colloid solution of the nanosized API in the desired nanometer range. NanGenex's proprietary continuous flow instrument guarantees precise parameter control during this optimization procedure. This phase results in a few 100 mg of solid nanostructured formulae that are characterized by instantaneous redipersibilty. The structure and chemical stability of these NanoActive powders are also investigated.

Phase III – Partner internal evaluation

The optimized nanostructured formulae are sent to our partners for internal evaluation. Based on the data of their in vitro / in vivo experiments our partners select the most beneficial formula.

Phase IV – Laboratory scale production

With our continuous flow reactors using the optimized parameter set of the selected formula 1-10 g of solid nanostructured API. If necessary, new optimization of the transformation parameters can also be carried out.
