What, when, and how do we deal with the information we collect?

The Personal Information we collect is used to identify you, including your name, address, email, phone number, and financial information. Personal Information is collected when you purchase a product through the NanGenex Services or when you visit any of the SITES. For example, if you sign up for the NanGenex e-mail alert, we will collect your email address.

Additionally, we collect certain non-personal default information customarily logged by web server software. Such information may include your originating IP address, the date and time of your visit, your browser type, the previous site you visited, the content you upload and review and products you order, and the pages and images requested. Non-personal information is used to maintain, evaluate, and improve NanGenex and NanGenex Services.

How secure is my information?

We work to protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts information you input during purchasing. We use commercially reasonable efforts to protect your Personal Information from disclosure or unauthorized access. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. Be sure to sign off when finished if you are using a shared computer. NanGenex is not liable for disclosure of data due to errors in transmission, unauthorized access or acts by third parties, or omissions or acts beyond NanGenex's reasonable control.

How will your information be shared with other parties?

Generally, NanGenex will not provide your Personal Information to any third parties except as reasonably necessary in the performance of the NanGenex Services or otherwise in order to operate our business. We may use third parties to maintain NanGenex or NanGenex Services, such as payment services and other operations. We use commercially reasonable efforts to prevent such third parties from using or disclosing your Personal Information for any reason other than the service they are providing in connection with the NanGenex Services. We may provide your name, mailing address, email address, payment method and other relevant transaction information (which, however, will not include either the credit card number nor credit card verification code) to our website link partners for purchase reporting, internal record keeping, product shipments, or to satisfy any of your opt-in marketing choices. However, we cannot and do not guarantee that such third parties and partners will not use or disclose your Personal Information. If NanGenex is acquired, merged with another entity, or if substantially all of our assets are acquired for any reason, we may disclose your Personal Information to any successor-in-interest of NanGenex. Additionally, we may disclose your Personal Information in the case of an emergency or as required or permitted by law, or to protect or enforce our rights or the rights of a third party. For example, if a third party alleges that you have infringed their intellectual property rights, we may disclose your Personal Information as it relates to such allegations. We may also provide your Personal Information to other companies or organizations for credit fraud protection and risk reduction.

In addition, as we develop our business, we may buy or sell assets or business offerings. Customer information, email addresses, and visitor information are generally among the transferred business assets in these types of transactions. We may also transfer such information in the course of corporate divestitures, mergers, or any dissolution, including, but not limited to, a bankruptcy proceeding.
