Uniform size and monodisperse size distribution

Reducing particle size below the micron level – to the nanometre range offers major advantages to compounds. Since dissolution rate is a function of surface area, a nano-formulation can have better bioavailability than a micronised formulation of the same drug.

NanoActive™ technology can deliver average particle sizes of 100 nm or less. As illustrated by the example below, 99% of drug particles were smaller than 100 nm. The average particle size of the drug nanoparticles was 47 nm (d(90)).
